Descend 100 feet underground and walk through magnificent limestone caverns to discover extraordinary stalactites and stalagmites and a crystal clear saltwater pool at its base that shimmers like glass. This is Gasperee Cave, voted the number one tour experience in Trinidad & Tobago. The caves were created by millions of years of wave action and slightly acid rain on the island of Gaspar Grande. The largest of these caves is known as the Blue Grotto and was open to the public in 1981. The get to the caves a 15-minute hike is required. After the caves, we hit a popular DDi beach offshore.
